Dive in and explore the deep blue sea! So much fun awaits with our amazing handcrafted wooden toy submarine. She has been expertly engineered and designed to function underwater! The submarine is weighted and balanced (with or without the wooden passengers) with special magnets that are placed underneath, on a metal plate. The magnets allow it to move up and down in the water, as you add or remove them. Perfect for play in the bath or pool! Each submarine includes 5 magnets and 3 handmade wooden figures.

*This toy is recommended for aged children 3 years + and due to the size of the magnets, is not suitable for children who tend to place objects in their mouths.

Materials: Beech Wood, Cherry Wood + Set of 5 Magnets.

Care Instructions: Do not leave sitting in water for extended periods. Once out of the water, towel dry (including the metal plate) and leave to air dry further for an hour or so. Water may discolour the wood slightly - this is normal. Applying a small amount of natural oil (eg. linseed oil), with a clean dry cloth every now and then will bring the colour back and help to protect the wood.

Auckland - Shipping Auckland wide is charged at a standard rate of $5.
Rest of North Island - Shipping to the North Island is charged based on weight:

South Island - Shipping to the South Island is charged based on weight:

3-8kg $15
8kg+ $30

Rural Delivery - A rural delivery surcharge of $4 applies. Please select rural delivery at checkout.

Shipping Process

An order confirmation will be emailed to you after you place your online order.
You will be emailed a shipping notification when your goodies are on their way.
We aim to ship your order within 48 hours of confirmed payment.
Please leave a note in the order comments if you have any special instructions for delivery.
Orders containing a pre-ordered item will be shipped once the pre-order goods are available. Items already in stock will not be shipped separately.

Pick Up

Items may be collected in person from us in Albany Heights, Auckland. Select pick up at checkout to choose this option.
Orders are usually ready for pick up within 4 hours.
Pick up is available between 9am and 5pm weekdays.
For pick up outside of standard business hours please contact us at info@hilltoptoys.co.nz to arrange a suitable time.
